The South Bank Lion — the magnificent Coade stone lion that guards the south end of Westminster Bridge, one of London's most overlooked and most photogenic sculptures — captured in a minimalist photography print that isolates its powerful form against the London sky. Made from Coade's artificial stone in 1837, the lion originally stood atop the Red Lion Brewery before moving to its current riverside position after the Festival of Britain.
