No Woman No Cry (1974) is one of Bob Marley's most autobiographical songs — a remembrance of life in the Trenchtown government yard in Kingston, Jamaica, where he grew up. The phrase 'no woman no cry' is Jamaican patois for 'no woman, don't cry' — not a statement about women as the title sometimes leads English speakers to misread it.

The live version recorded at the Lyceum in London in 1975 is the definitive version, one of the great live vocal performances on record. This Bob Marley lyric print is on 260gsm museum-grade archival matte paper from £3. Buy 3 get 1 free. Same-day dispatch from Camden Market.
