April 2026
Our music team at 98types likes to play, dance and sing just as much as you do. Each month we share our favourite prints — the ones we're currently dancing to, watching, or hanging in our own homes. This April: comedy movie posters, music prints and gaming art we can't stop thinking about.
We're a team of music-loving photographers and designers of various styles — and when we're not busy with all things art-making, we dance at home, at concerts, and occasionally in the Camden Market studio. This April, our picks lean heavily into comedy: the movies that make us laugh every single time, plus the music prints that have been soundtrack to the month. Did you find something you love? Let us know, and share it with the 98types community on Instagram @98_types.
This Month's Comedy Movie Picks
Home Alone is one of those films that defines what a comedy movie poster should feel like — joyful, bold, immediately recognisable. Chris Columbus's 1990 classic follows eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, accidentally left behind when his family flies to Paris for Christmas, who must defend the family home against a pair of incompetent burglars. The film grossed $476 million worldwide on a $18 million budget — at the time one of the highest-grossing films ever made. What makes it so enduringly watchable is Macaulay Culkin's utterly committed performance and the extraordinary precision of John Hughes's screenplay, which manages to be simultaneously slapstick, sentimental and genuinely suspenseful. The 98types Home Alone poster captures all of it. Our April studio pick, no contest.
Shop Home Alone Poster →Clueless is a film that gets better every single time you watch it — and the 98types Clueless movie poster has been sitting above Sara's desk since January. Amy Heckerling's 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma follows Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), a wealthy Beverly Hills teenager whose confident matchmaking abilities are rather better directed at other people than herself. The film launched the careers of Paul Rudd and Brittany Murphy, gave us "As if!" as a cultural touchstone for an entire generation, and produced one of the sharpest, funniest and most affectionate satires of teenage social dynamics ever committed to film. It holds a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes and — more importantly — has never once lost its ability to make you smile from the first scene. As if we could not include this.
Shop Clueless Movie Poster →Ghostbusters is the Bill Murray film that Tom cannot stop putting on during late print runs. Ivan Reitman's 1984 comedy follows three disgraced parapsychology professors who set up a ghost-removal business in New York City, with rapid consequences for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and the entire Shandor Building. The film is a masterclass in how to make a blockbuster feel genuinely funny rather than just "amusing" — Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis have a chemistry that carries the entire thing from first scene to Zuul. The Ray Parker Jr. theme is lodged permanently in everyone's brain. The 98types Ghostbusters poster is the music sheet version — featuring the actual Ghostbusters theme as sheet music, which is exactly the kind of detail that makes people stop and stare when they visit our studio.
Shop Ghostbusters Poster →Shaun of the Dead is the finest British comedy of the 21st century and Priya will argue about this until the pub closes. Edgar Wright's 2004 zombie comedy follows Shaun (Simon Pegg), a 30-something underachiever whose plan to survive the undead apocalypse involves getting his mum, his girlfriend and his best friend to safety via his favourite pub. The film is simultaneously a loving tribute to the zombie genre, a sharp comedy about arrested development, and one of the most technically accomplished British comedies ever made — every sight gag was planned and storyboarded months in advance. Wright's direction is genuinely extraordinary: every edit serves a comedic purpose. The 98types Shaun of the Dead poster goes on Priya's wall this month, zombie hands and all.
Shop Shaun of the Dead Poster →Ghostbusters 2016 divided the internet but Marcus has always had a soft spot for it — specifically for Kate McKinnon's absolutely feral performance as Jillian Holtzmann. Paul Feig's all-female reboot follows Erin Gilbert, Abby Yates, Jillian Holtzmann and Patty Tolan as they form their own ghost-catching outfit in Manhattan. The film has some genuinely excellent moments, a fun cameo-heavy supporting cast and Leslie Jones's extraordinary comic energy. It's a different Ghostbusters to 1984 — more chaotic, more improvisational, more willing to get weird — and the 98types Ghostbusters 2016 movie poster captures its energy perfectly. Marcus put it opposite the original Ghostbusters poster in the studio. The contrast is genuinely satisfying.
Shop Ghostbusters 2016 Poster →The King of Comedy is Martin Scorsese's most underrated film and Elena has been making everyone sit down and watch it for years. Robert De Niro plays Rupert Pupkin, an aspiring stand-up comedian who becomes obsessively fixated on a famous talk show host (Jerry Lewis) — with escalating, deeply uncomfortable consequences. The film is a prescient satire on celebrity culture and the pathological desire for fame that feels more relevant in 2026 than it did in 1982. It influenced Joker directly — Todd Phillips cited it as a primary reference. De Niro's performance is extraordinary: uncomfortable, funny and genuinely unsettling simultaneously. The 98types King of Comedy movie poster is a statement piece — perfect for anyone who wants their walls to provoke a conversation.

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner." The Dirty Dancing Time of My Life print has been on our studio playlist and our studio wall since January 2026. Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' Oscar-winning anthem from the 1987 film is one of those songs that is literally impossible to hear without immediately improving in mood. The 98types version features the song's notes as sheet music print — meaning you can actually read the melody that's been stuck in your head since 1987. It's printed on museum-grade 260gsm satin paper with archive pigment inks. Arrive at the studio on a Friday afternoon and you will hear it playing. This is not negotiable.
Shop Dirty Dancing Lyric Print →Boyfriends is the Harry Styles song that James puts on when he wants everyone in the dispatch area to have feelings. It's quiet, it's acoustic, it's devastatingly specific about the particular ways people fail the people they love — and it's one of the most unexpectedly powerful things on Harry's House. The 98types Boyfriends poster captures those lyrics in a clean, beautifully designed print that looks exceptional on any wall. James has had it above his work area since November and says it "makes the packing feel more meaningful." We didn't ask for elaboration.
Shop Harry Styles Boyfriends Poster →Rosalía's MOTOMAMI is the album that reshaped Sasha's understanding of what pop music could be — and HENTAI, the album's quietly devastating ballad, is the track she keeps coming back to. Stripped of almost everything but voice and piano, it's the moment in MOTOMAMI where Rosalía's technical brilliance and raw emotional presence converge most completely. The 98types Rosalía HENTAI poster features the song as a music print — beautifully minimal, exactly the right energy for a song this composed and this affecting. Sasha has it next to her monitor. It's a remarkable piece of music art.

The Tetris theme — "Korobeiniki," a 19th-century Russian folk song — is statistically one of the most recognisable pieces of music on earth. If you were a child at any point between 1984 and now, you've heard it. Rafi discovered the 98types Tetris main theme poster and immediately ordered one for his flat and one for his desk. The poster features the theme as actual sheet music notation — so if you play piano, you can learn to play the Tetris theme off your wall. Which is exactly the kind of wall art detail that turns into a party trick. The art is beautifully designed, completely unique, and makes a perfect gift for anyone who has ever owned a Game Boy, a PC or a sense of rhythm.
Shop Tetris Main Theme Poster →Go go Gadget — nostalgia. Dev found the Inspector Gadget Main Theme Poster in the 98types collection and immediately recalled the specific feeling of Saturday morning cartoons, a bowl of cereal and the absolute certainty that Inspector Gadget's gadgets would malfunction at least three times per episode. The main theme, composed by Shuki Levy, is a masterpiece of cartoon music — playful, urgent, completely unforgettable. The 98types print features the theme's musical notation, making it a genuinely educational piece of art as well as one of the best conversation starters in the collection. Dev has it next to the coffee machine. Good call.
