Amy Winehouse died on 23 July 2011 at her home at 30 Camden Square, London N1, from accidental alcohol poisoning. She was 27 years old. The news broke on a Saturday afternoon and the streets of Camden filled with flowers within hours. She was cremated at Golders Green Crematorium and her ashes buried with her grandmother Cynthia at Edgwarebury Lane Cemetery, Edgware.
