Best Movie Posters as Gifts UK — The Complete 2026 Guide
Film poster prints organised by occasion, genre and who you're buying for — so you find the right print for the right film fan, fast.
Quick answer: The best movie poster gifts are the ones tied to a film the person actually loves — not a generic "cinema" print but a specific poster they'll immediately recognise and want on their wall. All prints at 98 Types Studio start from £3 with buy-3-get-1-free. Browse the full film collection →
A movie poster print gets it right when it's specific — the film someone has seen seventeen times, the director whose entire back catalogue they've worked through, the cult classic their friends don't always know but they've been recommending for years. Here's the complete guide, broken down by who you're buying for.
By Occasion
Best movie poster prints for a birthday
For a birthday, the strongest picks are those with a clear connection to the person's taste — a favourite director's film, a genre they live in, or a cult film they've introduced you to. Any of the below land well for a film-obsessed birthday present.
Best movie poster prints for Christmas
Christmas gifts benefit from broader appeal — classics everyone knows, or films that have built a lasting reputation over decades. A poster of a film that defined an era lands well as a Christmas gift across generations.
Best movie poster prints for him
Crime, war, heist and thriller films are perennial favourites — a well-chosen poster from a film he's quoted at you, shown you, or watched too many times to count makes a gift that feels genuinely personal.
Best movie poster prints for her
Romantic dramas and mystery films with strong female leads are consistently among the most popular film poster gifts. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in particular is one of our best-selling romantic drama prints.
Best movie poster prints for teens
New releases, superhero films, anime and mystery adventures — teenagers tend to respond to prints that reflect what they're watching now, or films they've discovered recently.
